How to delete your account

You can delete your Naksha account at any time from within the app. Here's how:

1. Open Naksha and sign in to your account.
2. Open Profile from the account control in the top-right header.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account will be deactivated immediately and all active sessions will be terminated.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed or made inaccessible:

• Account information — your email address, display name, and username.
• Profile details — the information you provided to build your personality profile.
• Profile data — all computed personality, compatibility, and insight data.
• Photos — all photos you uploaded to your profile are removed from storage.
• Dating profile — your bio, city, dating intent, match preferences, and your presence in the discover feed.
• Match messages — your person-to-person chat history with matched users.
• Conversations — your entire chat history with Ved, your personal AI.
• Connections — all matches and compatibility connections with other users.
• Notification tokens — all push notification registrations are deactivated.
• Sessions — all active login sessions across all devices are invalidated.

Data retention

When deletion succeeds, your account and associated data are removed from Naksha's active databases and media storage immediately. Encrypted disaster-recovery backups may retain a historical copy for up to 30 days before automatic expiry; those backups are not used for analytics, advertising, or profiling.

We do not retain any personal data for analytics, advertising, or profiling after account deletion.

Re-registration

After deleting your account, you may create a new account using the same email address. The new account will start fresh — none of your previous data will be restored.
